Kai-Kit Wong: Regarding spatial correlation, it all depends on nature of the channel. Current research relies only on theoretical models such as rich scattering model and finite scattering model. For rich scattering, people use Jake’s model to model the spatial correlation. For finite scattering, it’s more like a simulated model and the paths will work out the correlation.
If the question is regarding correlation between the signals at the points beyond channel correlation, then mutual coupling is the effect. In the simulation results I presented today, I used matlab toolbox to compute the mutual coupling matrix given some standard antenna characteristics.
