Kaiming Shen received the B.Eng. degree in information security and the B.Sc. degree in mathematics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada, in 2020. Since 2020, he has been a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor with the School of Science and Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, China. His research interests include optimization, signal processing, and information theory. He received the IEEE Signal Processing Society Young Author Best Paper Award in 2021, the University Teaching Achievement Award in 2023, the Frontiers of Science Award in 2024, and the Chinese Information Theory Society Young Researcher Award in 2025. He is a member of the Signal Processing for Communications and Networking (SPCOM) Technical Committee of the IEEE Signal Processing Society, and serves as an Editor for IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications.
